As a musician, Jacquelyn sings all across Baltimore, and enjoys jazz, musical theatre, and pop music. Jacquelyn's interest in music grew through her experience in jazz band with Carl Grubbs, the legendary Baltimore saxophonist. Notably, in April 2024, Jacquelyn debuted her first original piece Unsettled at Peabody Conservatory. She performed with Charenée Wade’s Jazz Vocal Combo in 2022 at An Die Musik in Baltimore, most notably singing "Fever" as well as headlining two concerts at An Die Musik in February 2023 and October 2023, debuting her skills as both a performer and bandleader. She hopes that her music will inspire and bring joy to others in the community.

As an activist, Jacquelyn served as the Co-President and Founder of the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Carroll County from 2022-24, where she had led both a social media team as well as pioneering the creation of the 2022 Carroll County  Voter’s Guide. She remains an Executive Board Member. She has also worked with the LWV Protect the Vote Legislative Action Committee since 2020. There, she testified on behalf of the LWV for the Student and Military Voter Empowerment Act, which is now law for the state of Maryland. She also serves as the Campus Student Director for Hopkins Votes. She works to empower all voices through encouraging voting, as everyone deserves to be heard by their representatives at the city, county, state, and federal levels.

As a Board Member at the Baltimore Jazz Alliance, Jacquelyn merges her interests in music and advocacy to provide resources to Baltimore’s jazz community. Through her work at multiple Baltimore arts nonprofits, including Jubilee Arts and OrchKids, she nourishes community arts in Baltimore while providing mentorship to students and participants. Jacquelyn believes music is one of the few things that truly brings people together regardless of background. Through her work, she wished to inspire all to live their life to the fullest.
